We’re officially getting started on the FOP grounds renovation, and we need all hands on deck.

On Saturday, April 4th, we will be conducting a full-scale Demo & Cleanup Day focused on clearing the property and preparing it for future improvements. This is a working day—expect physical labor and visible progress.

Scope of Work:

• Removal of old fencing and damaged structures

• General property cleanup and debris removal

• Drywall and insulation removal inside the building

• Consolidating all trash into a centralized location

• Initial site prep for future construction and upgrades

A 40-yard dumpster will be on-site for disposal. PPE will be provided, but if you have your own (gloves, masks, eye protection), bring it.

Tools Needed (Bring if you have them):

• Cordless circular saws

• Sawzalls / reciprocating saws

• Oscillating multi-tools

• Pry bars, hammers, demo tools

• Work lights (especially for inside work)

• Wheelbarrows

• Large-mouth shovels

• Extension cords / battery packs

If you have access to additional equipment (trailers, skid steers, etc.), reach out ahead of time—we can put it to use.

Logistics:

• Start Time: 8:00 AM

• Location: FOP Grounds

• Dumpster will be positioned near the main building (gate code will be provided as needed)

Food & Drinks:
We’ll have food and drinks available. Depending on weather, we may fire up a grill—possibly with some adult beverages later in the day.

This is the first major step in turning this property into something that benefits not just the FOP, but the entire community. The more people we have show up ready to work, the faster we move.
